Job Description

Akkodis is seeking an Administrative/Executive Assistant I for a Contract job with a client in Knoxville, TN (Hybrid) . Ideally looking for applicants with a media & Entertainment domain.

Rate Range: $17/hr-$20/hr. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Job Responsibilities / Typical Day in the Role

• Create a daily broadcast log, including manipulation of paid units for maximum revenue potential.

• Confirm that promotional items and public service announcements are correctly scheduled on the log.

• Assist in research and resolution of order entry or log scheduling issues including oversell and separation situations, conflicts, competitive issues, exclusivities, and sponsorships.

• Maintain updated and accurate files consisting of all reports, correspondence, and confirmations related to daily log production.

• May interact daily with Ad Sales, Creative Services, Pricing and Planning, Programming, and outside agency personnel to resolve contract issues, provide information needed in the workflow process, and perform general troubleshooting of any issues to the point of resolution.

Must-Have Skills / Requirements

1) Understanding of broadcast traffic applications and their interdependency with sales, operations, and other systems

2) Minimum of 3 years of experience and proficiency in MS Office applications

3) Knowledge of overall operational and technical processes and system interdependencies

4) Ability to compile, code, categorize, audit, or verify information or data.

5) Ability to enter, store, or maintain information in various databases and vendor portals.

6) Ability to work within time constraints and exhibit flexibility in work hours based on business needs and seasonal demands as required

2) Strong organization and analytical skills, problem-solving, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment.

3) Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Education / Certifications

1) Bachelor’s degree preferred
