Our client, a venture capital-backed leader in healthcare innovation, is hiring a Senior AI/Machine Learning Engineer to join their team in California. The successful candidate will be responsible for advancing their AI-powered platform, utilizing cutting-edge techniques in Generative AI, reinforcement learning and deep learning to drive improved health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• As the AI/ML Engineer, you will design and optimize AI-driven systems to deliver value to members, partners and the business.

• You will analyze member behavior and sentiment to enhance metabolic health outcomes.

• Develop and fine-tune ML models that promote behavior change for members managing diabetes, weight loss and other metabolic health conditions.

• Apply reinforcement learning (RLHF) and other methods to improve personalized recommendations.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to create seamless AI experiences for both members and clinical teams, ensuring measurable impact.

Skillset

• PhD or Masters degree in Computer Science, Statistics or similar.

• At least five years of professional experience in AI and Machine Learning, particularly in production settings.

• Expertise in developing, deploying and optimizing ML models with techniques like RLHF, Deep Learning neural networks and anomaly detection.

• Familiarity with LLMs, Generative AI, NLP, Prompt Engineering and Sentiment Analysis.

• Strong Python skills and experience with large dataset analysis using tools such as SQL, Snowflake etc.
