Job Title: API Management Engineer

Duration: 5 Months Contract to Hire

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Hybrid role: Onsite (Tue-Thurs) and Remote (Mon & Fri)

Responsibilities:

• Maintenance and Support: Perform regular maintenance and updates tIT systems, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and support end-users.
• Troubleshooting: Resolve complex technical issues escalated from Level 1 and Level 2 support teams, providing expert-level troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Security Management: Implement and manage security measures tprotect IT infrastructure from cyber threats and ensure compliance with security policies.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other IT professionals, including network engineers, system administrators, and security specialists, tensure seamless integration and operation of IT systems.

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
• Must be willing twork varying shifts (Day, Night, Split, or weekends)

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
• Airline Industry experience
• Skills, Licenses & Certifications
• All candidates will need 3+ years’ experience with:

Apigee experience

• Design, develop, configure, and troubleshoot APIs and policies using Apigee Edge
• Defining overall API architecture/ implementations, integration and deployment of API management platforms and API security and Access control (SAML, Web SSO, SSL/TLS etc)
• Design API Publishing guidelines, API Product designing and implementation of workflow for API Consumer onboarding on Apigee Developer Portal
• Implement API security using OAuth 2.0, JWT, Encryption/decryption

Data Power experience

• Develop complex designs, leads, abstract concepts, and strategies for DataPower Gateway
• Implement IBM Integration Bus and deploy message flows tbroker instances and execution groups.
• Assist in troubleshooting network connectivity problems or authentication/authorization with

IBM DataPower Gateway & IBM Integration Bus

• Understand data security, privacy and controls related tfile transfers PCI/PII
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux a plus
• Familiarity with workflow and ITSM tools and ticketing systems
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability tinterface at all levels of the organization
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability twork independently and perform in a collaborative, team-based environment
• Basic understanding of server-to-server communication in a large-scale network
