Job Description

A pioneering technology company specializing in advanced material processing and acoustic mixing solutions are undergoing huge transformation in Montana. Their innovations are used across industries like medical devices, pharmaceuticals, energetics, and advanced manufacturing. The role of the Chemical Engineer includes spearheading innovative solutions and break-through R&D of emerging technologies.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead research and development efforts in chemical engineering, focusing on innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
  • Apply expertise in product and/or process development within an industrial setting.
  • Conduct research across various industrial applications, including energetics, pharmaceuticals, batteries/energy storage, and other modern industrial processes.
  • Utilize general industrial process knowledge to drive new product commercialization through research and development.
  • Design and develop chemical processes and equipment for mixing and other processing methods, from bench scale to full production.
  • Contribute to the advancement of advanced mixing technology and equipment, evaluating factors such as mixing, mass transport, heat transfer, scaling, process control, and optimization.
  • Develop and refine batch, continuous-batch, and continuous mixing processes.
  • Apply knowledge of mixing processes for solid-solid, liquid-solid, and liquid-liquid systems, with a strong understanding of fundamental mixing principles and design parameters.
  • Manage assigned projects from inception to completion, defining project requirements and conducting technical investigations to improve products and processes.
  • Research and apply advanced chemical engineering theories, methods, and techniques to solve complex engineering problems.
  • Prepare reaction protocols, research reports, and grant proposals.
  • Present research findings and technical solutions to internal teams, customers, investors, government organizations, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • BS in Chemical Engineering (MS or PhD of added value)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Enthusiasm for working in a diverse, demanding, and exciting technology environment
  • Strong work ethic and team player attributes
  • International travel will be required
