Job Title: Corporate Paralegal

Location: Houston, TX

Pay: $75,000-80,000

A growing company is seeking a highly organized and proactive Corporate Paralegal to support its legal and compliance functions. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working across various areas of corporate law, contract administration, and legal operations. The successful candidate will be comfortable managing multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and review contracts such as NDAs, vendor agreements, sales and purchase contracts, and service agreements
• Support entity governance, including preparing resolutions and coordinating notarization, legalization, and filings in various jurisdictions
• Organize and maintain legal records, files, and internal systems in line with company policy
• Conduct legal research and summarize findings on various regulatory and compliance-related topics
• Monitor and track deadlines for legal filings, renewals, and contract expirations
• Partner with the legal and compliance teams on special projects, global initiatives, and policy implementation
• Assist with reviewing and auditing internal procedures to ensure compliance
• Manage legal department invoices and assist with vendor onboarding/reporting
• Provide general legal operations support and assist with improving internal processes
• Perform additional administrative or legal support tasks as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
• At least 3 years of experience in a paralegal or legal operations role, preferably in a corporate or multi-jurisdictional environment
• Familiarity with corporate law, contract drafting and review, and legal documentation
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to prioritize effectively
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience using legal/contract management platforms

Preferred Qualifications:

• Paralegal certification (e.g., NALA, TBLS)
• Notary Public commission in Texas
• Spanish or other language skills a plus
