Job Title: Experienced Diesel Mechanic (2 Positions Available)

Location: Shreveport, LA

Compensation: $30-$35/hr (Guaranteed 50 hrs/week)

JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking two experienced Diesel Mechanics to join our team in Shreveport, LA. This position requires expertise in semi-engine rebuilding/in-frame repairs . Candidates must have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This role includes an on-call rotation with additional pay.

SHIFTS AVAILABLE:

• Shift 1: 1:30 PM – Midnight
• Shift 2: 5:00 PM – 3:00 AM
• (Guaranteed 50 hours per week)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform semi-engine rebuilds/in-frame repairs .
• Develop work plans after diagnosing issues thoroughly.
• Conduct diagnostic tests on diesel engines and interpret results to determine solutions.
• Inspect and repair vehicle systems, including suspensions, steering, and exhausts .
• Overhaul or replace transmissions, brakes, engines, and other components .
• Conduct oil changes, wheel balancing, alignment, and brake checks .
• Maintain accurate records of parts inventory and service history.
• Adhere to company safety policies and best practices.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience in diesel mechanics, including semi-engine rebuilds .
• Ability to run diagnostics and repair diesel engines .
• Valid MVR (Motor Vehicle Report), drug screen, and criminal background check required .
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Must be reliable and able to work the assigned shift.
• Certifications in internal overhauls preferred (higher pay scale available for qualified candidates).
