A Day in the Life as a Digital Marketing Specialist

 

As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will focus on website development and updates, digital campaign execution, developing front-end/back-end code, and analytics reporting. This position plays a key role in driving engagement, managing content across platforms, and helping to generate high-quality leads through strategic digital initiatives. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing regular updates to the company's corporate website, sub-brands sites, and customers sites, and developing front-end/back-end code as needed.
  • Updating/developing code and performing content updates for Account Engagement and company portals.
  • Publishing blog articles and assisting with SEO-driven content strategy.
  • Assisting with social media management and content development.
  • Supporting Account Engagement initiatives by collaborating with sales and marketing teams.
  • Managing e-mail marketing and lead nurturing initiatives.
  • Assisting with Google Ads and paid social media initiatives.
  • Assisting with digital graphic creation as needed.
  • Managing creative project workflow, prioritizing projects based on needs and budget, all while adhering to branding guidelines and completing projects according to deadline.
  • Running quarterly website and SEO reports, and working with the Digital Marketing Manager on optimizing digital assets.

 

What You Need

  • Degree in Web Design, Multimedia Design, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on website management and campaign execution.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Proficiency with HTML/CSS and familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
  • Experience with Google Ads, SEO tools, and email marketing platforms.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong creative capabilities with and eye for design.
