Job Description

Job Title: Dispensing Technician

Location: Portsmouth, NH

Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Rotating Days, Every Other Weekend)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Summary:

The Dispensing Technician is responsible for the accurate dispensing of raw materials—including liquids, powders (hazardous and non-hazardous), acids, and bases—under cGMP conditions to support the manufacturing of therapeutic proteins (API). This role operates in a Class C environment , requiring strict adherence to safety and quality standards, proper use of PPE, and compliance with established procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense raw materials (liquids, powders, acids, bases) under cGMP conditions.
  • Perform and monitor all dispensing processes and weighs according to SOPs.
  • Demonstrate aseptic techniques and cross-contamination awareness.
  • Execute process recipes and complete tasks per established guidelines.
  • Perform basic laboratory tests, including pH, conductivity, and sampling.
  • Maintain qualification for all assigned tasks and equipment.
  • Conduct cleaning and sanitization of dispensing equipment.
  • Complete peer and First Level Reviews of eDispense orders/kits.
  • Ensure compliance with documentation practices (cGMP & GDP).
  • Transport and deliver materials to manufacturing suites; execute software and physical movements.
  • Participate in safety inspections and submit safety observations.
  • Attend shift exchanges, meetings, and contribute to team projects.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the Logistics Team.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Skills & Competencies:
  • Familiarity with cGMP and GDP standards.
  • Ability to wear full PPE and gown for Class C cleanroom environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
  • Proficiency with basic computer systems and software for material tracking.
