Lead UX/UI Product Designer
Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Type: Full-time
At RoadSync, we’re on a mission to revolutionize payments for the transportation and logistics world. Our platform powers seamless on-site and in-route transactions at warehouses, roadside repairs, and repair shops - eliminating cash and paper hassles and unlocking liquidity for tow and repair service providers, warehouses, carriers, and fleets. We’re a growth startup backed by experienced fintech and startup leaders, and we’re looking for a passionate designer to join us at the ground floor of being the payments and workflow leader in transportation & logistics.
Customer-Driven Discovery: Lead interviews, ride-along sessions, and usability tests everywhere from the tow yard to the warehouse dock to uncover unmet needs and “jobs to be done.”
End-to-End Experience: Prototype multi-step workflows - payments, invoicing, deposits, dispute resolution - transforming complex processes into intuitive, elegant interfaces. Business and workflow intelligence backed by consumer-led design sensibilities
Design System Architect: Establish a scalable, accessible design system in Figma (or similar), driving consistency across web and mobile while enabling rapid iteration
Cross-Functional Partnership: Embed with engineering squads to ensure pixel-perfect implementation, and work alongside product, sales, and leadership to prioritize features that maximize user value and business impact
Design Advocacy: Champion design excellence - lead critiques, facilitate workshops, evangelize user-centered thinking, and present research insights and prototypes to executives
Measure & Iterate: Define success metrics (NPS, task completion, error rates), analyze user feedback and analytics, and iterate relentlessly to optimize experiences
Mid-Career Expert: 5- 7+ years driving UI/UX or product design in B2B or enterprise-scale environments, ideally with fintech or logistics platforms
Workflow Simplifier: Demonstrated ability to decompose intricate, multi-stage processes into lean, user-friendly flows
Empathetic Researcher: Skilled at planning and conducting qualitative research - interviews, surveys, contextual inquiry - and translating findings into actionable designs
Hands-On Creator: Mastery of Figma and rapid prototyping tools; working knowledge of HTML/CSS, front-end frameworks, and MUI libraries
Collaborative Communicator: Clear, persuasive storytelling, sketching concepts, scripting user flows, and presenting to engineers, product managers, and execs with confidence
Idea Generator: You value solving our customers’ problems first and draw from a wide range of product/design influences to generate novel ideas and outcomes
Startup Mindset: Comfortable with ambiguity, able to pivot quickly, and driven to ship high-impact features in a fast-paced environment
Experience building a design system, team, and philosophy
