Required Skills & Experience
• 3+ years’ experience working in a Manual Machinist position
• Producing parts from prints, or recreating parts from samples provided
• Using measuring devices to quality check and record all data
• Work with a variety of materials including multiple types of stainless steel, cast iron, steel and exotic materials.
• Use handheld power tools such as grinders, band saws, etc.
• Assist other machinists when needed
• Lift heavy pieces to adjust on machine (crane in place over all machines)
• Ability to learn and understand industrial pumps or experience with any rotating equipment a plus.

Insight Global is looking to add a Manual Machinist to our client's team. We are in need of a dedicated manual machinist to operate vertical turret lathes, horizontal boring mills, vertical mills, and manual lathes. Someone with significant experience who can operate these machines efficiently and machine to the tolerances we require. Pay for this position will vary based on experience: 20-30hr.
