Job Summary

We seek a Process Operator to join our team.

 

Job Description

  • Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality.
  • Check on equipment throughout shift to ensure equipment is working properly.
  • Reads and clearly follows processes that are required.
  • Contributes to division results and performance.
  • Takes care of internal and external customer needs and expectations.
  • Bag products, samples and test;
  • Manage spent carbon feed to reactivation furnace;
  • Switch tank feed from tank to tank of spent carbon;
  • Calibrate PH probes, operate a filter press, run facility waste water treatment plant.
  • Sort bottles by size and resin;
  • Load and unload deliveries to and from regional branch;
  • Operates forklift to move bottles and materials through plant and load/unload trucks;
  • Evacuates bottles.
  • Shift Schedule: 05:00 AM - 1:30 PM

 

Skills Required

  • Some industrial setting work experience
  • Must complete site specific safety training - completed on first day
  • Ability to communicate clearly to team members.
  • Be able to follow and read instructions.
  • Have basic math skills.
  • Be able to complete 40 hour hazardous waste operations training.
  • Forklift driving

 

Education/Training/Certifications

  • High School Diploma / GED

 

Additional Requirements

  • Must have some manufacturing experience working in an industrial work setting.
