Job Description

WORK OPTION: In-office

This position is within a unionized bargaining unit and union membership will be required. Assignment end dates are tentative and subject to change.

Position Summary:

Responsible for editorial oversight and approval of highlights and all video elements.  Manages daily assignments and schedules for the highlight/content production team.  Will lead daily content meetings, recommend, and approve highlight concepts and executions.  

 

Major Responsibilities:

  • Schedules assignments and coverage for highlight/content production team 
  • Oversees nightly highlight production and content operations
  • QC all content including internal and external in-bound content and associated shot sheets
  • Develop content ideas and elements to enhance highlight production
  • Trains, evaluates, and provides oversight for highlights, telestration tapes and segment concepts from production staff 
  • Assists with the curation of shot sheets, telestration tapes and b-rolls as needed
  • Works with Broadcast and Business Operations teams to ensure staffing and resource coverage 

 

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated leadership experience including managing teams and schedules
  • Attention to detail under tight deadlines
  • High level of knowledge of sports production, specifically highlight production
  • Deep knowledge of NBA storylines, current and historical
  • Ability to communicate quickly and efficiently
  • Willingness to work evenings 

 

Salary Range: $37.32/Hourly
