Product Manager - Parts and Accessories

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic development and management of Parts Accessories Catalog Equipment products, including sectional loading docks, dock levelers, vehicle restraints, dock seals, dock boards, ramps, mezzanines, industrial handling equipment, doors, and associated technologies.
  • Conduct market analysis and assess customer needs within the industrial, construction, and logistics sectors to identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to translate market requirements into technical specifications and ensure the successful development and launch of new products.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap, aligning with business goals and industry trends.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to define positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for industrial dock equipment products.
  • Develop and manage product budgets, forecasts, and pricing strategies to optimize profitability while maintaining competitiveness in the market.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate product performance and guide continuous improvement efforts.
  • Build strong relationships with key customers, gathering feedback and insights to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Stay informed about advancements in industrial dock equipment, safety regulations, and technology trends to inform product decisions.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and training to internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain professional and technical/product knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing technical/specialty publications, and participating in professional associations.
  • Ability to travel 25-50%
  • Preferred candidate will work onsite at our Mequon, WI facility.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in Engineering, Sciences, Business, or a related field preferred; minimum of 7 years prior program or significant project management experience.
  • Proven track record in product management within the industrial equipment, construction, or logistics industry.
  • Experience with new product development program management.
  • PMP certification is preferred.
