Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Program Manager to lead and oversee a newly developed Enrichment Center for an established nonprofit focused on children in foster care . The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, a deep understanding of foster care, project management methodologies, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. This role requires strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Suggested hours: Tuesday-Saturday, Noon-7:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Utilize technology applications for project tracking and reporting, maintaining accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables that align with nonprofit's mission and goals.
• Implement best practices in product management and project implementation to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Apply Six Sigma methodologies to identify process improvements and drive quality initiatives within projects.
• Conduct requirements analysis to gather stakeholder needs and translate them into actionable project plans.
• Employ earned value management techniques to monitor project performance and make data-driven decisions.
• Ensure compliance with SAFe principles for agile project management, adapting processes as necessary for optimal outcomes.

Requirements

• Proven ability to work effectively with at-risk or vulnerable populations.
• Sensitivity and cultural competence when addressing diverse backgrounds.
• Experience with trauma-informed care.
• Proven experience in program or project management roles with a strong track record of successful project delivery.
• Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card, CPR and First Aid certifications, trauma-informed training (or the willingness to obtain).
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive performance towards common goals.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma principles and earned value management techniques is highly desirable.

• Relevant certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) or Six Sigma are a plus.
