About the Role As a Project Engineer Level 1, you will assist in supporting project operations and delivery through planning, coordination, and documentation. You will work closely with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to maintain project flow and ensure quality standards. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Obtain required information for materials selection, dimensions, and owner/third-party documentation Track jobsite documentation including RFIs, ASIs, and change orders Coordinate efforts with other trades and documentation Prepare submittals, schedules, and O&M manuals Estimate, count, and prepare change orders Track QA procedures, logs, and issues Attend project meetings as assigned In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Solve problems and improve processes Demonstrate attention to detail Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment Communicate clearly and professionally (both written and verbal) Adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple demands Promote and ensure safety practices on job sites We are looking for someone with the following competencies: High school diploma required Two-year college or technical certificate preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, spreadsheets, and Smartsheet Ability to read and interpret safety rules, instructions, and technical documentation Strong reasoning and problem-solving ability Effective communicator in English (written and verbal) Why Cochran?
