Project Manager

Location: US & Germany

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled International Project Manager to oversee and manage complex projects across global markets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing international projects, particularly in non-standard industries such as welding assembly, powertrain, or component manufacturing. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and clients across different regions. The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Management:
  • Take full ownership of project timelines, deliverables, and overall project budgets.
  • Monitor and manage project progress, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to ensure successful project completion.
  1. Resource Coordination:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to allocate resources effectively and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  1. Client Engagement:
  • Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and ensure their expectations are met.
  • Ensure projects achieve all milestones on time and within scope.
  1. Documentation and Reporting:
  • Prepare detailed project reports, including progress updates, risk assessments, and financial summaries.
  • Organize and categorize project outputs according to schedule requirements.
  1. Leadership and Collaboration:
  • Lead project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Foster a collaborative environment to drive innovation and efficiency.
  1. Additional Duties:
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by senior leadership to support organizational goals.

Qualifications:

  1. Work Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in international project management.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale projects in non-standard industries such as welding assembly, powertrain, or component manufacturing.
  1. Industry Knowledge:
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific challenges and best practices.
  1. Language Proficiency:
  • Americas: Fluency in English is required, as it will serve as the primary working language.
  • Europe: Proficiency in English is required; additional language skills (e.g., German) are highly desirable.
  1. Skills and Competencies:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  1. Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is a plus.
