Job Description

Shield Pressure Controls specializes in providing cost-effective and customizable pressure control solutions for the oil and gas industry. With a commitment to safety and performance, we focus on managing underground pressure to prevent dangerous blowouts and ensure the integrity of drilling operations.

We are seeking a Quality / Safety Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Your expertise will be vital in enhancing our quality systems and maintaining the highest standards of safety and performance.

The ideal candidate is a critical thinker who will proactively improve the quality systems of the company through internal audits, participation in process improvement programs, and interaction with key partners to obtain constructive feedback. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality management systems to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular quality audits to assess compliance with CGMP, FDA regulations, and ISO 9001 standards.
  • Lead quality control initiatives to monitor product quality throughout the drilling process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide training and support to staff on quality assurance practices and procedures.
  • Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics and present findings to management.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations affecting quality management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering or quality management.
  • 5 to 7 years of quality management within the oil and gas industry or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of CGMP, FDA regulations, HACCP, QA/QC processes, and ISO 9001 standards.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for conducting audits and assessments.
  • Effective communication skills for training staff and reporting findings to stakeholders.
  • Project management experience is a plus but not required.
