Job Description

Position Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Real Estate Transaction Coordinator who can thrive in a high-production environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the transaction process, ensuring smooth and efficient real estate transactions from start to finish. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of real estate transactions from contract to closing.
  • Work closely with real estate agents, clients, lenders, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless and efficient process.
  • Prepare and review contracts, addendums, and other transaction documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Facilitate communication between all parties involved in the transaction to keep them informed and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Schedule and coordinate inspections, appraisals, and other necessary appointments.
  • Manage and organize transaction files, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Keep abreast of changes in real estate regulations and assist in ensuring compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Real Estate Transaction Coordinator or in a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of real estate contracts, forms, and processes.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in real estate transaction management software.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in real estate transaction coordination.
  • Valid Virginia real estate license required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and real estate transaction management software.
  • Familiarity with Virginia residential contracts and forms preferred.
