Description & Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Consultant to split time supporting clients through technical account management services as well as leading our vulnerability management program. This role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, technical security operations, and the ability to lead and support vulnerability management services. In addition, it is necessary to possess excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships that will contribute to the overall success of our clients and of the practice.
How you will contribute:
The primary function of this role is to drive service maturity supporting the practice through technical account management and leading the vulnerability management program across all managed security clients. Responsibilities are as follows:

  • Technical Account Management: Provide service delivery support services as a technical resource for managed services clients. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted resource to interface with and coordinate follow up efforts across the managed services team to resolve issues. Provide proactive support, which may include light engineering tasks and regular check-ins to maintain consistent communication supporting ongoing service delivery.
  • Vulnerability Management Service Delivery Lead: Oversee vulnerability management delivery that will include scoping of services, architecture/deployment, scan scheduling, reporting, communications and coordination internally in support of PCI ASV reporting, and externally with clients and vendors as well as coordination of client remediation activities, when needed
  • Reporting: Prepare and deliver reports on service performance and other relevant metrics to clients and internal stakeholders. 
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies, continuously improving our service offerings and processes
  • Practice Growth: Support business development efforts and coordinate with those related teams to identify and pursue upsell opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a vulnerability management, technical account management, or similar role, with a focus on cybersecurity
  • Experience with security toolsets, such as: Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, SentinelOne, Microsoft Defender, Cybereason, Carbon Black, Crowdstrike, etc. Experience with SIEM technology, such as: Elastic, Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, etc. Experience with SOAR technology, such as: Swimlane, Tines, etc. 
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP communications and the OSI model
  • Working knowledge of security issues, vulnerabilities, exploits, regulatory and legal changes, and security standards that may impact information security
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CEH, Security+, PCI ASV or similar are highly desirable.
