Residential HVAC Service Manager - Orlando, FL

We're partnering with a leading home services company that's seeking a highly motivated HVAC Service Manager to oversee their residential HVAC service and installation operations in Orlando, FL.

In this role, you'll be responsible for leading and managing a team of residential HVAC technicians, overseeing projects from start to finish, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management:

  • Supervise and manage residential HVAC technicians and other team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Schedule and coordinate residential maintenance, repairs, and installations, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
  • Oversee projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

System Oversight:

  • Maintain a strong understanding of residential HVAC systems, codes, and best practices.
  • Oversee the performance of residential HVAC systems to ensure efficiency and compliance with regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues.
  • Manage system upgrades or replacements.

Client and Vendor Relations:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships for equipment and supplies.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Conduct safety inspections and train staff on best practices.

Financial Management:

  • Contribute to the financial success of the division by monitoring expenses, optimizing profitability, and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and manage budgets for projects and operations.
  • Develop cost-saving strategies without compromising quality.

Team Leadership:

  • Oversee recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new HVAC technicians.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to team members.
  • Evaluate staff performance and provide constructive feedback.

What We Need From You:

  • 5+ years of leadership experience overseeing day-to-day operations within residential HVAC service and installation.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving year-over-year business growth.
  • Experience managing budgets and overseeing projects for businesses with annual revenue ranging from $5 million to $100 million.
  • Strong technical knowledge of residential HVAC systems, including repairs, maintenance, and installations.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Project management expertise and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with HVAC software and tools; such as Service Titan
