Position: Senior Crisis & Incident Response Manager

Location: Fully Remote. Can be located in Charlotte, Atlanta, Raleigh, Richmond, VA

Duration: 5-Month Assignment

Shift: Mon-Fri, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (On-call rotation with 24/7 availability)

Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Crisis & Incident Response Manager to support the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team in managing incidents that could impact operations, finance, reputation, or regulatory compliance. This role involves leading incident response efforts, crisis exercises, and stakeholder coordination to enhance organizational resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a Senior Crisis & Incident Response Manager , facilitating enterprise-wide incident response meetings and drafting clear, concise reports.
• Lead crisis management exercises, identify process improvements, and oversee their implementation.
• Train and manage the enterprise crisis team and incident response team.
• Act as the on-call Senior Crisis & Incident Response Manager on a rotating schedule, monitoring risks and escalating critical incidents.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of Banking experience and proven experience as a Senior Crisis & Incident Response Manager with expertise in crisis/incident management coordination, facilitation, reporting, and After-Action Reviews.
• Hands-on Everbridge experience (General User level).
• Exceptional writing, facilitation, and instructional skills.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in corporate crisis exercises, risk assessments, and audit responses.
• Project Management certification is a plus.
• Relevant certifications (DRI CBCP/MBCP or BCI CBCI) preferred.
• Prior experience as a Senior Crisis & Incident Response Manager in a large enterprise setting.
