Our client is looking for a hands-on Senior Warehouse Manager who can drive a culture built on safety, people, service, and efficiency. This is a high-impact role with the opportunity to shape operations, mentor leaders, and make a real difference in performance and employee engagement.
What You’ll Do:
Lead and develop warehouse managers and associates through coaching, training, and performance management.
Champion a safety-first culture that ensures every associate goes home injury-free.
Oversee inbound receiving, outbound selection, and shipping to guarantee accuracy and timeliness.
Build high-performing, engaged teams by driving retention, recognition, and accountability.
Partner across departments (transportation, sales, inventory, etc.) to ensure seamless operations.
Identify and implement process improvements that cut waste, reduce costs, and boost productivity.
Maintain compliance with OSHA, HACCP, and food safety standards while protecting product integrity.
Monitor KPIs such as inventory accuracy, productivity, safety, and on-time delivery — and act quickly to correct gaps.
Ensure the facility and equipment are maintained in top working condition to keep operations running smoothly.
Requirements:
5+ years of warehouse leadership/supervisory experience (multi-shift or large-scale operations a plus).
Strong people development skills with a track record of mentoring managers and building bench strength.
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities across all levels of the business.
Broad knowledge of warehouse methods, processes, and best practices in safety and efficiency.
Familiarity with collective bargaining agreements and working in union/non-union environments.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.) and experience using WMS/ERP systems.
Ability to interpret financial and operational data to make data-driven decisions.
College degree preferred; HACCP/PCQI certifications a plus.
