Summary: Supports specialized biomedical equipment throughout the campus; develops, administers and ensures compliance with quality assurance measures in conjunction with the Senior Biomedical Engineering Technician; repairs, inspects, calibrates, tests, cleans and lubricates electronic and electro/mechanical equipment.
Qualifications: Required Education and Experience
1. Associate's degree in Biomedical Engineering Technology, Electronics or a related field and the equivalent of two (2) years of internship or on-the-job training/work experience in the troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of biomedical, electronic, or electro/mechanical equipment; or
2. High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of four (4) years of internship or on-the-job training/work experience in the troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of biomedical, electronic, or electro/mechanical equipment.
NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
