Your Role

The Electrical Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates and bid documents for electrical construction projects. This position requires strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

• Review project specifications and drawings to determine scope and estimate requirements.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and input data into estimating software.
• Solicit and evaluate quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Prepare scope clarifications, inclusions, and exclusions for bid proposals.
• Work closely with project management teams to ensure smooth transitions after successful bids.
• Maintain organized documentation and backup files for estimates.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field .
• 2+ years of estimating experience in commercial or electrical construction.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and estimating software ( Accubid preferred ).
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Experience with CAD or 3D modeling software is a plus.

Travel

• Up to 25% travel may be required.
